Hobart Showground Motorhome Park

Property Description : The Showground also provides a space for a diverse range of businesses and organisations, catering to the many talents and interests of the people in Hobart and visitors from around the world, some of whom choose to stay in our Motorhome Park. Our motorhome park is open but please be advised that we are currently in our redevelopment phase. Our new sites (Numbers 1-90 on the booking system) are a mixture of concrete, astroturf and gravel surface due to construction delays. This may lead to increased dust in certain weather conditions, please contact us if this is of concern. Due to the temporary nature of this area, some sites are shorter in length than others. If you have a large van and are unable to fit on the booked site when you arrive, please visit the office or contact the caretaker if arriving out of office hours. For bookings dated 1 February 2025 onwards, there will be a $5 per night increase to all site fees. This is a considered increase to take in the increased costs of running the park and the full inclusion of shower costs for visitors moving forward. The Motorhome Park will continue to run throughout this time in a reduced capacity. Please note that during the day there will be demolition and/or construction happening onsite which may lead to increased noise and dust in certain conditions. Due to the ever changing nature of the project, RAST reserve the right to move bookings onto alternative sites if required and will endeavour to move you onto a site with the same facilities as your booking. We will also not be accepting tents during this time. ​We apologise for any inconvenience caused. How To Get There : From the North - turn right at the Howard Rd intersection off the Brooker Highway and then turn right at the end of Howard Rd through our main gates. From the South - turn left at the Howard Rd intersection off the Brooker Highway and then turn right at the end of Howard Rd through our main gates. Extra Guest Children : Children are welcome and stay for free. Pets are also welcome but must be under effective control at all times. Car Parking : Plenty of on-site parking available. Business Facilities : Everything you could possibly want is located within a 10-15 min walk of the site including dining, shopping, vehicle repair and recreation (inc roller skating, cycleway, horse racing, trotting, greyhounds and sports facilities). Other Facilities : Laundry available with both washers and dryers. The machines are operated by QR Code. There is no camp kitchen on site currently. Drive Time to City : 10 minutes Drive Time to Airport : 20 minutes
